Mercedes Mone shared her thoughts and future plans after her victory over Kris Statlander during the post-event media briefing following AEW Full Gear 2024 pay-per-view. She also discussed her primary aim for 2025 and the potential for her to participate in the upcoming Wrestle Dynasty.
Here are some key points from the post-match media session:
About her primary focus for the coming year, 2025:
“To keep on being victorious, to keep on earning, and most importantly, I crave for more titles. When I wear my TBS championship belt around my waist, and my NJPW Strong over my shoulder, I can feel the emptiness on the other shoulder. The cold of winter makes it harder, makes it apparent that I need more titles. In 2025, I am all set to claim what I deserve. I owe a lot to AEW for providing the chances that I’ve received till now, but in the coming year, my lust for more titles, more opportunities is stronger. I’m dedicated to keep revolutionizing women’s wrestling in AEW because the women’s wrestling we have here is unparalleled, and tonight’s showdown with Kris Statlander is substantial proof of that.”
Regarding her participation at Wrestle Dynasty:
“Being the TBS Champion and the NJPW Strong Champion, it is only natural for you to expect my presence at Wrestle Dynasty in Japan. I’m planning to discuss this with our CEO.”
