In an article from her “Mone Mag” newsletter, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone shared her thoughts on her Iron Woman match with Charlotte Flair. “Ospreay and MJF’s’ 60-minute match made me think about my match with Flair. It lasted for 42 minutes, and I also participated in the 53-minute women’s Royal Rumble,” Mone stated, adding that she always feels the urge to do more after each match.

In other wrestling news, fighters Tiffany Nieves and Mystii Marks are confirmed for the Burke Invitational Gauntlet at the upcoming NWA 76. The event is organized by the National Wrestling Alliance.

According to the official statement, NWA newcomer Nieves — who recently signed an exclusive contract with the company — will be one of the competitors, along with Texas-based wrestler Marks, a trainee of the legendary Jazz. “Tiffany Nieves and Mystii Marks are the NWA future,” stated Joe Galli, NWA COO. The winner of the Burke Invitational Gauntlet will be the No. 1 contender for the NWA Women’s World title, he added.

NWA 76 is scheduled to take place in Philadelphia on August 31. The event will include a grudge match featuring Alex Taylor and Kerry Morton from The Southern Six and Knox & Murdoch. Tickets for NWA 76 are now available.
