In the most recent update of “Mone Mag”, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has shared her thoughts on her historic Iron Woman duel against Charlotte Flair. Mone noted,
“Ospreay and MJF’s outstanding 60-minute match got me reflecting on the Iron Man matches and my particular Iron Woman match with Charlotte Flair. It took roughly 42 minutes, which I know ran over the scheduled time. I also had a 53 minutes stint in the first women’s Royal Rumble. My physical and emotional state after these matches? Every time, I was left wanting to do more… I was fully aware that the Charlotte match was going to be momentous. Added to the storytelling and wrestling, you need someone with good stamina – and Charlotte surely has that and more.”
Meanwhile, a press release from the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) announced some of the contenders for their forthcoming Burke Invitational Gauntlet at NWA 76.
