Not more than a few months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting AJ, Big Justice, and their clan in the catering area, and their presence intrigued me. From the get-go, they radiated such a robust and uplifting aura that was difficult to ignore.
Big Justice, a genuinely charismatic young man, is among the sweetest I’ve encountered. His charm is simply irresistible! And then there’s “The Rizzler.” Isn’t he adorable?
I’m thrilled that AJ is a member of AEW. They truly know how to generate a BOOM of positive energy wherever they are, and it’s always delightful to be in their company!
Mariah May believes she’s always carried the mantle of a champion, and hasn’t felt the need to elevate her game after being crowned the AEW Women’s World Champion.
In the latest interview with Renee Paquette on “AEW Close-Up,” Mariah May shared her thoughts on whether she has leveled up since her title win.
“I don’t believe I’ve leveled up. I’ve always been the powerhouse of this division. There’s a reason I’ve had the most matches on Dynamite. Everyone enjoys watching me. Regardless of what I do, I keep winning your hearts. Even if I’m tough with someone, I continue to be liked, and there’s a rationale behind it.”
She added, “So, I don’t feel I’ve leveled up. I believe I’ve always carried the responsibilities of being a champion, unlike other champions on our show. I’ve regularly appeared on Dynamite, Collision, and Rampage. I’ve always been here, putting my efforts in, trying to get on the show. So no, I don’t believe I’ve leveled up. I’ve always held a Champion’s spirit. This [title] is just recognizing it.”
