Mercedes Moné & Mayu Iwatani Get Physical Ahead Of STARDOM All-Star Grand Queendom

Mercedes Moné will defend the IWGP Women’s Championship against Mayu Iwatani tomorrow at STARDOM All-Star Grand Queendom at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan.

Ahead of their scheduled title clash, STARDOM held a press conference earlier today during which Moné and Iwatani got physical.

During the presser, Moné made fun of Iwatani’s gear and vowed to leave her “broke” at tomorrow’s pay-per-view event. To commemorate the occasion, Moné began playing on a miniature guitar and sang “Mayu sucks!”

Having had enough, Iwatani got out of her seat and fired back at Moné. She ducked a guitar shot from the former WWE Superstar and then kicked her in the gut.

Iwatani raised the guitar to smash Moné with it but ultimately stopped in her tracks. Iwatani declared, “Winning is an icon! I’ll show you that I’m a top wrestler.”

Following the press conference, Moné tweeted,

“Just remember there’s a price to pay when you mess with Mercedes Moné.”
