Mercedes Mone has recently opened up about Kris Statlander’s influence in AEW.
Currently in a face-off for the AEW TBS Championship, Mone and Statlander are at odds. However, in her online column, “Mone Mag”, Mone didn’t shy away from recognizing her adversary’s impact. Her statement follows:
Kris Statlander
Speaking about Kris Statlander, I recall a clip from the Collision where Statlander claimed that I’m the cause of her fallout with Willow and why everyone turned their backs on her. I’ll admit one thing. She’s spot on about the course change following my AEW entrance. From the moment I stepped in, both the intensity of Moné and the level of competition have escalated.
Meanwhile, Riho broke her silence via a Twitter post earlier this week about her arm recovery status and why she isn’t back in the U.S. yet. Her comments were,
“It’s been 3 months since I broke my arm in early July. I’m certain many of you are wondering, ‘Why aren’t you back yet?’ As it happens, I’m delaying my return because my visa renewal is still in progress, even though my bone has completely healed. Despite slow movements, I’m optimistic about improvement soon.”
Riho Update. She is now in full health, but she’s facing hurdles with her VISA once more. We hope for your quick return, sweetheart. We miss you 🌸 pic.twitter.com/QWN9OAoogf
