Mercedes Martinez To Compete In Tonight’s Women Battle Royal On NXT

In addition to it being revealed that Elias has signed a multi-year extension with WWE, Ryan Satin on WWE Backstage broke the news that WWE newcomer Mercedes Martinez will compete tonight in the women’s battle royal on tonight’s episode of NXT.

Mercedes just arrived to the WWE Performance Center yesterday along with a recruit class that also included top independent star Jake Atlas so it’s quite the speedy turnaround for Martinez. She did compete previously in NXT as a participant in the two previous Mae Young Classic tournaments.
