Mercedes Martinez To Challenge For IMPACT Knockouts Title At 10/16 WrestlePro Show

Mercedes Martinez is landing on her feet following her release from WWE.
The company let Martinez go as part of a wave of releases on August 6, but the former NXT star is getting a title shot in her first announced post-WWE appearance.
Martinez will challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the IMPACT Knockouts Championship at WrestlePro’s show on October 16.

Several notable names are sprinkled throughout the card. Legends like Tommy Dreamer, Steve Corino, and Gangrel will be in action. Plus, former WWE stars Carlito and Brian Myers will compete. Dirty Dango (Fandango) and Tony Nese, who were recently released by WWE, will square off in a singles match.
