McKenzie Mitchell’s Return To Wrestling Announced, ‘Road To’ AEW Grand Slam Hype Video

Former WWE NXT personality McKenzie Mitchell has shifted gears and will now be seen working as a backstage reporter for the ‘Forged In Excellence’ events by Maple Leaf Pro. These events are scheduled to take place on October 19th and 20th in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Mitchell ended her tenure with WWE in the last month of 2023.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling confirmed her role via a tweet, stating: “BREAKING: @mckenzienmitch is the official backstage correspondent for #MLPForgedInExcellence, October 19 & 20 LIVE on @FiteTV from Windsor, Ontario! Additionally, Taiji Ishimori is set to participate in five matches in a single event dubbed ‘Superhuman Taiji Ishimori Gets Ridiculous’, slated for November 12th.

Details of the event include: Ishimori will team up with HOUSE OF TORTURE’s SHO, and DRAGONGATE’s Shun Skywalker. Their opponents will be the current NJPW World TV Champion Jeff Cobb, BJW’s Daisuke Sekimoto, and renowned freelancer Shuji Ishikawa. The match duration is restricted to 15 minutes and promises to be packed with high voltage action.
