Maxxine Dupri Picks Up Her First Singles Win On RAW, Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens

While Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are best friends in real-life and are currently paired together in WWE, the two men had an epic feud on the indies prior to joining World Wrestling Entertainment. For those unaware, Zayn worked as El Generico while Owens worked as Kevin Steen.

Speaking to Xfinity for a new interview, Sami Zayn looked back on the first match the two men worked together. He said,

“I think our first notable match …was a three-way match with myself, Kevin and [PCO]. The chemistry was pretty instantaneous. Right there and then our names got kinda linked together from there on out.”

Maxxine Dupri picked up her first-ever win in singles competition on this week’s episode of WWE RAW, as she defeated Valhalla. The finish of the match came when the Alpha Academy member got a clean pinfall victory to the surprise of many.

Dupri’s official WWE in-ring debut took place on the July 3rd episode of RAW, as she teamed with Chad Gable & Otis against The Viking Raiders and Valhalla.
