In a recent video on his YouTube channel, former WWE pro-wrestler Maven, delves into the financial difficulties he encountered following his departure from WWE.
Winning the WWE’s Tough Enough competition, Maven subsequently had stints at HSN and BET post his WWE stint. However, his endeavor to strike gold in Hollywood led to him losing a whopping ,000. He narrates his experience,
“What prompted my decision to venture in LA? It was a series of meetings – meeting casting directors, agents, various personalities from the industry, all after my stint on The Surreal Life. As if to add fuel to fire, in 2010, I thought I finally had my eureka moment: a shortcut to riches where I ended up as an executive producer on a film. It’s commonly perceived that those in the film industry always mint money, right? They never face losses. Except, I did. I was set back by 15 grand on a movie I invested in, a movie that till today, I have not watched even once.”
