During a recent guest spot on the podcast “The False Finish,” Maven, an ex-WWE Superstar, shared his perspective on why he believes Randy Orton was destined for wrestling.
Here are a few meaningful excerpts from the podcast discussion:
Speaking of Randy Orton: “Surely enough, Randy [Orton] was just leagues above the rest. Randy’s one of those individuals that he didn’t seem to choose wrestling, it chose him. I recall the time when we were in WWE’s developmental training and Randy exhibited the craftsmanship of a seasoned professional even back then, which I believe was around 2002, prior to his official debut.”
Reflecting on his wrestling matches with Randy Orton in WWE: “I recall a specific match [in 2004], but the details of the specific circumstance are blurry now, except that there was a timer running below. Randy and I stepped into the ring and delivered a commendable performance. Rewatching that match, I can honestly say it wasn’t as if Randy was guiding me. Instead, the match’s strength was due to our combined efforts. That’s undeniably one match I often reminisce about and think back on fondly.”
