Maven, a former WWE superstar recently shared some interesting facts about his career on his personal YouTube channel, giving insight into his 2005 WWE departure and his subsequent appearance fees in the independent circuit.
Maven explained, “When I left the WWE in 2005, I was at a prime stage for making money in the indies, for the independent promotion. I realize as soon as individuals quit the WWE, that’s when they have the highest earning potential. As for me, I could request as much as ,000-,000 per contest just after my departure, and that’s because people still recognized my name. I had name recognition.”
On the gradual decline of his popularity post-WWE exit, Maven illuminated, “With each passing day that removes you from appearing on WWE television, your popularity takes a steep dive, diminishing the amount you can earn as time goes on. Before initiating my YouTube channel, my popularity, or name recognition, might have been valued at around 0-0. This valuation depends on the type of event, who is in charge of the event, and how competent they are.”
A YouTube video explaining the cost of being a WWE wrestler was also shared for additional information.
