Mattel WWE New-Gen Arena
Recently Mattel announced they were launching their very first WWE crowdfunded proejct, the New Generation Arena. For $250 collectors would fund a super-detailed New Gen ring, a working New-Gen entrance stage and an Ultimate Diesel figure if 5,000 people back it by August 22, 2021.
If 7,000 people back it by August 22nd, Mattel will add in an Ultimate Edition Doink the Clown figure for free.
If 8,000 people back it by August 22nd, Mattel will also add in two additional ringskirts for free.
Macho Madness Announcers Pack
In the last few days Mattel went on to reveal that if people back the project by August 13th, they will also add in an Ultimate Macho Man and an announce table with blue chairs, a headset, microphones and monitors:
- A WWE® Ultimate Edition “Macho Man” Randy Savage figure, capturing his role as commentator of Monday Night RAW. Figure includes WrestleMania X entrance gear and an additional hat with an integrated headset
- An additional announcer’s headset for co-commentators
- New Generation Announcer’s Table with soft goods tablecloth, two monitors, two microphones, and two blue folding chairs
- Early Bird exclusively available to all backers who place a preorder by August 13, 2021 9pm PT #UnlockTheArena
Many people were concerned about Mattel taking their money up-front, but now Mattel fixed it so they just put a pending charge on your form of payment until the project is fully funded. If it’s not fully backed by August 22nd, they will refund those who paid in full before or eliminate the pending charge on your card.
As of this article the arena is currently at 2,415 backers (48% funded) with 12 days remaining.
If you’d like to participate in this project be sure to sign up here by August 13th to get Macho and the announcers set!
