In his recent appearance on the popular “Developmentally Speaking” podcast, Matt Riddle reflected on his time with RK-Bro, the WWE team he formed alongside Randy Orton. Riddle expressed his wishes to complete the unfinished storyline that was suspended when he departed the WWE before Orton’s return to the ring.
Riddle passionately shared his feelings saying: “I cherished every bit of my time there. My only regret is that I could not complete my stint with Randy [Orton]. In the beginning, we faced challenges with his injuries and Covid, which forced him to take several weeks off. I was patiently waiting for his return. Above everything, wrapping up RK-Bro was what I aspired the most as we have some unfinished business. It would have been incredibly satisfactory to put an end to it. Regardless of the outcome, even if it meant me being punted. Notwithstanding, in the scenario that we can’t continue RK-Bro, I am pleased with how things stand. Randy and I remain friends and keep in touch regularly which brings me immense gratification.”
On another segment of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Joe Hendry proudly recounted his achievements in 2024, including a brief period in NXT during the WWE-TNA crossover.
Hendry said with pride: ”It’s indeed been a rollercoaster ride over the past year but also the most gratifying. Every struggle echoed the testament that perseverance pays off and it’s never too late to achieve your potential. I was glad to make surprise appearances, partake in TNA and NXT crossover, and being given some wonderful opportunities like chart-topping tracks, featuring on the front cover of Pro Wrestling Illustrated. One crucial realization I had was that success does not come instantly, it requires commitment and relentless efforts. My mantra has been simple – chase your goal, dedicate yourself wholeheartedly, and never stop. As for me, my eyes are set on being the TNA World Champion.”
