Matt Riddle Pins John Morrison, Wins WWE US Title At Elimination Chamber
Riddle is the new WWE United States Champion.
On the Elimination Chamber Kickoff show, John Morrison won a Fatal 4-Way Match to earn the spot. WWE announced that Keith Lee would be unable to compete due to an injury. Riddle has been feuding with Lashley in recent weeks.
“The Almighty” controlled the match early on. He slammed Morrison into the steel ring post. Morrison and Riddle tried to work together to counter Lashley’s dominance, but the champion maintained the upper hand.

Lashley then planted Riddle with a Dominator. The Original Bro rallied, and he floored Morrison with a flurry of offense. Riddle drilled Lashley with a Final Flash, but Morrison caught him with a knee to the face.

Morrison argued with MVP at ringside, and “The Shaman of Sexy” stole his crutch. Riddle used the crutch to break up the Hurt Lock, and he pinned Morrison to win the title.
