Riddle me this, bro!
Over the years, many WWE Superstars have had portions of their name dropped following roster moves or character changes. For example, Big E was once known as Big E Langston when on NXT and initially on the main roster. Cesaro was once known as Antonio Cesaro, and the Viking Raiders underwent complete name changes of their individual personalities and tag team name upon moving from NXT to the main roster.
Now, Matt Riddle seems to be the latest name to undergo a name change. In only a few weeks on Monday Night Raw, WWE has made the decision to drop his first name and just call him “Riddle.” This change is reflected in his WWE.com Superstar profile. Most recently, Riddle lost a Survivor Series qualifying match to Sheamus and the week prior, he lost a match to AJ Styles.
WrestleZone will have more on this story as it becomes available.
