On the “Barstool Rasslin'” podcast, professional wrestler Matt Riddle expressed skepticism over the possibility of Goldberg selecting him as the final adversary for his retirement match which is anticipated to occur next year.
Riddle, commonly known as the OG Bro, stated that any previous bitterness between him and Goldberg has dissipated. This alleged animosity originated when Goldberg was offended by Riddle’s continuous appeal for a match.
Relating to the audience, Riddle admitted, “Well, it’s uncertain. I’m not entirely convinced he is ready to confront me, to be honest. We managed to break the ice during a flight from Saudi Arabia after one of the Crown Jewel events. Over a couple of cocktails, we had an interesting conversation. I don’t believe there’s any ongoing feud. He seems to comprehend my perspective better now. Likewise, I totally understand why he found my comments disrespectful. I actually didn’t mean any disrespect. As professional wrestlers, I was just sharing facts that I could provide evidence for. Many in the WWE took my openness as being insolent. However, after fighting in the UFC before coming over to WWE, should I simply disregard my entire background? Absolutely not! I believe I’m more than capable to handle myself, even against the likes of Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley who are undoubtedly big guys but not novices in mixed martial arts either. ”
Meanwhile in other wrestling news, on November 11, Brian Myers of TNA Wrestling submitted a trademark application for “The System”. This is a term connected to Myers’ faction in TNA, which comprises of Moose, JDC, and Eddie & Alisha Edwards, for usage in entertainment and merchandise.
