Matt Riddle Claims Chad Gable Could Dominate MMA, Maven Talks Potential WWE Return

During his recent visit to the “WrestleBinge” podcast, Matt Riddle spoke highly of Chad Gable’s talents, asserting that Gable has what it takes to “dominate” in MMA if he chooses to engage in it.

Riddle has gone on record saying, “I believe Chad Gable is someone who would excel, more so if he took up jiu-jitsu. He has the potential to make a meaningful transition from wrestling to mixed martial arts. His experience as an Olympic wrestler enables him to take on numerous competitors and emerge victorious. In my opinion, he is a formidable contender.”

In a recent upload on his YouTube channel, Maven pondered over the prospects of making a comeback in WWE.

Maven hinted at considering a potential comeback in WWE should the company extend an offer to him.

He shared, “Returning to the ring is a slim chance. However, I must remember that I’m not as young as I used to be, and much has changed with the company since I left two decades ago. It has been 20 long years since I was associated with WWE. If there were any plans to bring me back, an idea would have surfaced by now. But, if WWE were to contact me, I would certainly pick up the call.

As for associating with AEW, Maven noted, My reaction to AEW would be similar to that of WWE – I would respond if they contacted me. But until now, no call has come my way, so for now, there are no plans to join AEW. Given my age of 48, I realize my days of in-ring action are behind me. This suggests that my role in WWE or AEW would be restricted to commentary or management. These roles are not easy to secure, and the current hosts on both programs are doing a fantastic job. They would have to perceive a gap that I could fill, which hasn’t happened yet. Does this bother me? Not really. I can comprehend their perspective.”

Maven’s presence in WWE has been missing since 2005.
