Following an incident on AEW’s Dynamite earlier this month where MJF turned heel and assaulted him, Daniel Garcia has not been seen on AEW television. This occurred shortly after Garcia lost to Will Ospreay in the race for the AEW International Championship.

Matt Menard recently shared his thoughts on MJF’s attack on Garcia during an interview with Renee Paquette, predicting karma will eventually catch up with The Salt Of The Earth.

Menard explained, Truthfully speaking, his transformation has been drastic. AEW has been in operation for half a decade now, so we’ve seen the kind of person he has morphed into. Why did I feel I could place my trust in him? On the day I first met Max, he was a humble young man. He was tentative, almost, but genuine and courteous — the quintessential nice guy. My trust in him hinged on the memory of the respectful person I had first met. And I thought perhaps we were witnessing a return to that. Max had been quite decent to Danny in the preceding weeks, but then he kicked Danny where it hurts. The blame lies with me. People say karma will bite him in the end, yes. I’d like to believe that. But if you really look at the trajectory of things, this is exactly what he desires. He invariably gets what he wants. I’m at a loss for words. Something, at some point, will come for him.

As previously disclosed on eWn, Garcia was deliberately written off-air to protect AEW should he choose not to renew his contract and decide to depart.
