Professional wrestler Matt Hardy has expressed optimism towards the anticipated Netflix documentary about Vince McMahon, stating his belief that it will provide an accurate and balanced account of his ascent to prominence and subsequent downfall.

Titled “Mr. McMahon”, the documentary series is set to debut on Netflix this month. It will extensively portray the story of the ex-WWE CEO, who relinquished his position earlier this year, over six hour-long episodes.

During a recent episode of his podcast, “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy”, Hardy aired his views and forecasts pertaining to the planned docuseries. He opined,

“My intuition suggests that Netflix and the associated team will want to maintain their integrity. Therefore, I believe it will be a reasonably accurate portrayal of what we are aware of. It should undeniably stir up interest in WWE ahead of its Netflix premiere.”

There have been indications that McMahon himself partook in a number of sit-down interviews for the docuseries prior to his resignation. Interestingly, the WWE reportedly does not own any production rights for the program.

Earlier this year, McMahon resigned from his WWE position as a consequence of accusations made by Janel Grant targeting him, the WWE, and John Laurinaitis.
