Matt Hardy might be “Broken” but he says he’s back to full health and ready to step back into an AEW ring.

Hardy appeared on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite alongside his family, where he told Tony Schiavone he was back to 100 percent health and ready to return to in-ring action. Hardy’s time was interrupted by a mysterious promo featuring a man in a black hood, burning photos of Hardy displayed behind him. Sammy Guevara revealed himself as the mystery man, and then said he’s the one who attacked Hardy earlier.

Guevara said he put Hardy on the shelf at All Out and he will keep injuring him every time he is cleared, noting that “it’s not over until I send [Hardy] home for good.”

Hardy has been out of action since he was injured at AEW All Out after Guevara speared him off a scissor lift. Hardy overshot two tables set up for the landing, hitting his head on the concrete. There were conflicting reports on Hardy’s condition after the fall, with Tony Khan initially stating Hardy did not have a concussion. Matt’s wife, Reby, later disputed this claim, noting that it was “1000% concussion” and “anyone with eyes could have told you that.”
