Matt Hardy has been in his fair share of ladder matches and believes that Logan Paul competing in this week’s Men’s MITB Ladder Match is good for business.
Paul was added to the Men’s Ladder Match last week and will face LA Knight, Santos Escobar, Butch, Damian Priest, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Ricochet.
The decision to include Paul in the match has been met with some backlash from fans, and Hardy discussed the decision on his “Extreme Life” podcast. He said,
“I mean, it’s business. It happens.. this is how the business works.
“It’s good for business and they usually do what’s best for business.”
When it was pointed out that Paul not only brings his own fanbase to WWE but there are people who want to see him beat up, Hardy chuckled and said,
“It’s part of the magic of pro wrestling.”
Hardy competed in four Money in the Bank ladder matches throughout his WWE career but never captured the coveted briefcase.
