Jeff Hardy is still finding his confidence as part of the AEW roster according to his older brother Matt.
Jeff joined AEW last year but has spent much of his time with the promotion suspended due to last year’s DUI arrest.
During his “Extreme Life” podcast, Matt spoke about Jeff rediscovering his groove since returning to programming and the recent match with the Young Bucks. He said,
“Jeff is kind of finding his confidence once again. He’s kind of navigating his way back to a very confident Brother Nero. He was happy with [the match]. I was happy. Everybody was happy with it. It ended up being a big, big success at the end of the day.”
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Jeff Hardy face Jeff Jarrett in a Texas Chainsaw Massacre Death Match which Jarrett would win.
Later during the podcast, Matt said he hopes that he and Jeff have plenty more matches with the Young Bucks.
