In an episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy shared insights into the current standing of Jeff Hardy with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
A severe injury suffered by Jeff Hardy was the hot topic of discussion. During a telecast of an AEW Rampage episode in March, Hardy was engaged in a No DQ duel with Sammy Guevara, which took an unfortunate turn for him. A misdirected knee hit Hardy abruptly on his head, incidentally when Guevara was performing a Shooting Star Press, resulted in Hardy breaking his nose.
Speaking about his brother’s current situation, Matt Hardy shared, “He’s been cleared medically, he’s just relaxing at his home nervously waiting for a call. Unlike myself, he isn’t the kind of person who would go out and attempt to turn the tide in his favor. He is more of a relaxed soul, patiently waiting for the phone to ring. He spends most of his time at his home, playfully jumping on the trampoline with dumbbells in his hands. He has the rest of this time till somewhere around mid-June, and post that his contract with AEW ends. It remains to be seen if he will choose to renew his terms with AEW or embark on a new journey. We can only guess at this stage.”
