Matt Hardy, a former member of All Elite Wrestling, has expressed great admiration for the talented Mariah May and Toni Storm.
The alliance of May and Storm on AEW TV was evident until May emerged victorious in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. The win led to her gaining an opportunity to claim the Women’s World Title from Storm.
In one of the recent episodes of his podcast called “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy,” Hardy lauded the storyline. He quipped,
“The narrative involving Toni Storm and Mariah May is one of the best they’ve developed in the last four to five months. Eagerly awaiting the upcoming contest. It’s going to be a thrilling one.”
Hardy also discussed the plotline for the AEW TBS Championship where Mercedes Mone will be up against Britt Baker at All In. He commented,
“The Baker and Mone matchup is intriguing. Finally, they’ve positioned Mercedes where she performs best… They’re going to make the most of the match, it promises to be highly entertaining.”
The action-packed AEW All In: London 2024 will happen this Sunday at Wembley Stadium. Plans are in line for AEW’s return to the UK next year for its annual Forbidden Door event.
