Matt Hardy Applauds The Closing Segment Of The 2023 Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View Event

Add Matt Hardy’s name to the list of pro wrestling stars singing the praises of the closing angle for WWE’s 2023 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.

Speaking on a recent episode of his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the Sensei of Matt-itude shared his thoughts on Sami Zayn turning on Roman and fracturing The Bloodline. Hardy said of the segment:

“It was a great start of the newest chapter.” He continued, “It’s been a great story. I love what they’ve done. I dig Roman and the Usos and The Bloodline so much. And Sami was such a good injection into it and he has just played his part to perfection, you know? And he really has become a bigger star as time has gone on doing this, and his reaction to finally flipping the switch and turning on Roman was fantastic.”

Sami Zayn is set to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber on February 18th. The show will take place in Zayn’s hometown of Montreal, Quebec.
