Wrestling superstar Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder, recently featured in a candid conversation with Justin Barrasso during the “Undisputed” podcast. They discussed his transformation into the new character “The Complete.”

Discussing his new persona, Cardona asserted his capabilities by stating, “Just like Lex Luger is recognized as ‘The Total Package,’ I know I can deliver diverse performances. This is why I refer to myself as ‘The Complete.’ My objective is not just a personal reinvention, but a complete overhaul of the independent wrestling scene.”

Cardona also mentioned his perspective on any possible engagements with WWE or AEW. He said, “Having a dialogue with WWE or AEW is possible if they approach me. However, my focus currently is to improve and make each day better than the previous. I am too focused on growing and improving to waste time on resentments.”

Among other things, Cardona expressed his desire to go up against JBL. He said while admitting that he is now in a position to take control rather than just follow commands. Elaborating on this, he said, “During my time with WWE, my control was limited. Now, I have the reins. I am completely committed to this journey. The opportunity I have right now is what I’ve always dreamed of. The possibilities are endless, from appearing on NXT on a Tuesday to Dynamite on a Wednesday. The thought of finally wrestling certain talents in New Japan excites me. Wrestling JBL on the independent scene would be a headline affair. I am determined to continue giving my best and providing unprecedented performances.”

In a different conversation with Sports Central LA, Joe Hendry, who is due to clash with Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory on Saturday, playfully hinted at inviting John Cena to TNA Wrestling if he emerges victorious. He jested, “Hypothetically speaking, if I do become the TNA World Champion, it would be only fitting for me to invite John Cena to step into the world of TNA Wrestling.”
