Matt Cardona Reacts To GCW Title Win: ‘I Am Ready To Take GCW To New Heights’

Following Matt Cardona‘s shocking victory over Nick Gage at GCW Homecoming: Part One, the new GCW World Champion cut a passionate promo backstage, and he emphasized his belief that he is the face of GCW.
“Do not doubt ‘Always Ready’ Matt Cardona,”said Cardona. “I’ve been scratching and clawing my entire f—— life, my entire f—— career, and you really think I was scared of Nick Gage? Of course I was afraid of the violence, but I wasn’t afraid of the destruction that would happen in the ring. Look at my body, I am covered in blood, I’m scarred up but it was all worth it because I am the GCW f—— World Champion.
“I’m still going. This isn’t a one and done. This isn’t a Lawrence Taylor WrestleMania first time, last time, only time, oh no. I am the face of this f—— company. I am ready to take GCW to new heights. I am the face of GCW, and a face with teeth. In response, GCW’s official Twitter page quoted Cardona’s tweet and stated that he is not the face of the company.
