Matt Cardona Is Interested In Facing Cody Rhodes

Matt Cardona was reported to make his WWE return at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view occasion this previous weekend. While Cardona didn’t appear, the returning Cody Rhodes got in the high-stakes Men’s Royal Rumble match at # 30 and removed 5 Superstars to punch his ticket to the centerpiece of WrestleMania 39.

Throughout a Twitter Q&A session on Wednesday, Cardona was asked which active WWE Superstar he ‘d like to deal with in the future. The previous Zack Ryder called Rhodes as his # 1 option. He tweeted,

Cody Rhodes and Matt Cardona formerly shared the ring on the August 5th episode of AEW Dynamite. The 2 males beat The Dark Order in tag group action on the program.

While Cardona is yet to discover his method back to Vince McMahon’s business, his better half Chelsea Green went back to WWE by briefly going into the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
