Matt Cardona appears to be okay after fans got quite the scare during his grudge match against his Major Brother in Brian Myers. Cardona and Myers were featured players on last night’s IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion and Cardona, in what ultimately ended in a match closing angle, landed awkwardly on his knee. After the show, Matt was asked about it by fans on social media and he gave a brief update.

Hopefully not as bad as it felt. Knee cap is back in place. Thanks guys.

Matt did get some support from a colleague after dealing with a loss to his long-time friend.

Thanks 👍🏻

Myers defeated Cardona after he vaulted the broski up for a leap frog and Matt crashed on his left knee. The TNA official held up an “X” but it was referees, no medical staff who tended to Cardona. Myers feigned concern and extended a hand of support to Cardona only to lariat him down for his troubles before sizing him up for his Roster Cut finisher for the tainted W. Before suffering the loss, Cardona did get the opportunity to tip the cap to his partner in crime, Chelsea Green, by hitting her “Hot Mess” finisher on Myers.
