Former WWE superstar, Matt Cardona, made an announcement on Twitter about his comeback to wrestling following a recovery period from a pectoral muscle tear. He highlighted his deep love for wrestling in his announcement.
The professional wrestler has chosen a new moniker, “The Complete” Matt Cardona, from this point onwards.
Cardona announced, “This was just framed as my injury recovery video, but it has turned into something quite bigger…This video illustrates the journey of my career, my life. I’ve been discounted by the management, the fans, and even by myself! But, I always make a comeback. I don’t stop until I decide to, and quitting is not on the table! As “The Complete” Matt Cardona, I ask that those who have supported me continue to do so, and to share this video.”
In the comeback video, Cardona further stated, “When do we decide to stop pursuing our childhood dreams? The biggest challenge in this industry is maintaining popularity. Am I capable of making a fresh start? I went from being an ordinary guy to the Internet Champion, despite the perception of others. The fans continued to cheer for me, even when my presence was downplayed. I was written off, but bounced back stronger. My resilience was questioned, and I won the Deathmatch crown in response. Despite not being viewed as an elite competitor, I emerged as a champion. They claimed that my creativity was lacking. Who needs creative? I am the creativity. I am “The Complete” Matt Cardona.”
This was just imagined to be my comeback after injury video, but it transformed into more than that…This epitomizes my career journey, my life journey.
The management wrote me off. So did the fans. I doubted myself too! But I bounce back each time. I don’t stop until I choose to quit…and… pic.twitter.com/mxD5RB3PQP

On the “Developmentally Speaking” podcast, wrestler PJ Black announced his temporary withdrawal from the ring for around six months due to an injury he is currently facing.
Black stated, “I’m managing well. I’m in the middle of intense recovery, but all things considered, I’m okay. This is arguably the worst injury I’ve suffered so far. I’ve been in this business for 27 years. This is my first in-ring injury and the recovery will likely be about six months. I just have to put in the time and work.”
