Former WWE broadcaster Matt Camp recently discussed his backstage issues with former WWE colleague Megan Morant on an edition of his “The Wrestling Matt” podcast.
During his conversation, Camp acknowledged their lack of chemistry, saying, “The fact that I just said her name for the first time on this show, ever, should tell you plenty. It didn’t work.” He revealed his efforts to help her improve, mentioning that he even had Michael Cole checking on her progress. Despite these attempts, he said that Morant wasn’t open to the help.
Camp explained how Morant became the second-in-command behind Kayla Braxton on SmackDown. He admitted that he wasn’t excited about the change but committed to making it work. Unfortunately, their lack of chemistry became apparent and things didn’t work out as planned.
The former broadcaster was noticeably upset about Morant not reaching out to him after his release from WWE. He expressed disappointment at not even receiving a text from her, essentially reminding his listeners to remember such actions when they extend help.
Camp is no longer in conversation with Morant and doesn’t see the possibility of that relationship being repaired. He remains firm in his revelations, stating they are factual, regardless of what Morant might choose to deny.
The podcast ended with an embedded video that further elaborated on Camp’s issues with Morant.
