Women began to be included in the PWI 500 in 2021, but only women who wrestle both men and women or hold a championship previously held by men.

Slamovich regularly wrestles men on the independent circuit and is a former GCW World Champion.

Emi Sakura and Saraya have been throwing barbs on social media ever since Saraya used Sakura’s favorite band Queen for her All In 2023 entrance.

Saraya later had a t-shirt made up with Sakura’s crying face on it which caused the Japanese star to threaten to spank the AEW Women’s World Champion. Sakura tweeted,

“I wish you’ve had a moment moving enough for me to make a shirt out of. When i bend you on knee & spank you till you’re crying and a good girl, maybe than, that crying face will be shirt worthy.”

Masha Slamovich Makes History as the Highest-Ranked Woman in PWI 500 List

In a groundbreaking achievement for women’s wrestling, Masha Slamovich has made history by becoming the highest-ranked woman in the prestigious PWI 500 list. The annual list, compiled by Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI), ranks the top 500 professional wrestlers from around the world based on their accomplishments, in-ring skills, and overall impact on the industry.

Slamovich, an Impact Wrestling star, secured the impressive #15 spot on the 2023 PWI 500 list. This achievement not only highlights her incredible talent but also signifies a significant milestone for women in professional wrestling. Slamovich’s ranking surpasses several renowned male wrestlers such as Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, and Bobby Lashley.

The inclusion of women in the PWI 500 began in 2021, but with certain criteria. Previously, only women who wrestled against both men and women or held championships previously held by men were considered for the list. Slamovich’s ranking is a testament to her versatility and skill as she regularly competes against male wrestlers on the independent circuit. Additionally, she is a former GCW World Champion, further solidifying her place among the elite in the industry.

The news of Slamovich’s historic achievement has garnered attention and praise from fans and fellow wrestlers alike. Kristen Ashly, a wrestling journalist, took to Twitter to celebrate Slamovich’s accomplishment, stating, “At #15, @mashaslamovich is the highest-ranked woman in the history of the PWI 500.” This recognition serves as a significant step forward for women’s wrestling and showcases the immense talent and dedication of female athletes in the industry.

However, Slamovich’s accomplishment is not without its fair share of drama. Emi Sakura and Saraya have engaged in a social media feud following Saraya’s use of Sakura’s favorite band, Queen, for her All In 2023 entrance. Saraya further escalated the situation by creating a t-shirt featuring Sakura’s crying face. In response, Sakura threatened to spank Saraya, the AEW Women’s World Champion, and tweeted, “When I bend you on knee & spank you till you’re crying and a good girl, maybe then, that crying face will be shirt worthy.” This ongoing feud adds an intriguing layer of excitement to the wrestling world and keeps fans eagerly anticipating their next encounter.
