WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry recently urged Tony Khan to hire former X-Division Champion Willie Mack.
On this week’s episode of AEW Rampage, Mack faced Brian Cage, one-third of the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions, in a losing effort. Interestingly, his last AEW appearance was also in a losing effort to Brian Cage, albeit on AEW Dark.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast, Mark Henry lavished praise on Willie Mack, stating that he would make a good addition to Ring of Honor. He said,
“I would love to see him (Willie Mack) on ROH. He’s a leader, I think he’s a good locker room addition, he’s fun-loving, and he don’t mind getting in and working with the young people. That means a lot to me because that means he’s trying to give as well as take and making a living.”
Mack currently appears primarily in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, a partner promotion of AEW.
