On a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, esteemed WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry shared his thoughts on the potential of CM Punk to be an incredible coach for NXT.
The podcast episode featured key highlights, as outlined below:
Henry voiced his belief on the proficiency of CM Punk as a coach, stating, “Absolutely. He fits right in, without any hurdles, he’s a good mentor, has the ability to lead the people he works with. Occasional impartiality and balance isn’t just what makes a great locker room leader, it’s also about knowing when to step up.”
Speaking about Punk’s potential as an effective trainer, Henry mentioned, “Not all are capable of teaching, the question is – are you proficient in your teaching style and is the curriculum you develop structured? Is it a one-size-fits-all approach or does it change depending on each student? Punk has the ability to cater to each individual, but he also could adhere well to a structured curriculum.”
On the wrestling front, fans should look forward to Punk wearing a different hat, as he is set to be the special guest referee for the upcoming NXT Championship showdown between Trick Williams and Ethan Page. This match is slated to happen on the WWE NXT debut on The CW Network next week.
