On a recent episode of the podcast “Busted Open Radio,” WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry expressed his admiration for Megan Bayne’s performance at the AEW Dynasty 2025 event. Megan Bayne had a formidable match as she took on the title holder of AEW Women’s World Champion, Toni Storm. Despite her defeat in the Sunday pay-per-view event, her performance left a lasting impression.

Henry expressed, “Megan Bayne and ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm did really, really well. It was long but it was good. … [Bayne] impressed the st out of me with her endurance.” He continued his praise for Bayne, stating, “And [there were] things that she was doing late in the match, some of which [were] very complicated, and she got through that st like nothing.”

In a recent conversation with “Sports Illustrated,” AEW star Will Ospreay talked about how he has adapted his wrestling style for AEW. He also pointed out the beneficial influence of ECW Legend and AEW producer Jerry Lynn on his match strategies. Several key points from the podcast are as follows:

Discussing the modification of his style, Ospreay commented, “A little bit, yeah because you can’t do those epic clashes on TV, that much. It’s very rare that you can actually follow through with those epic New Japan-style main events. So you have to pick your spots wisely and now, I feel like I’m really finding my groove at the TV matches. And obviously, when the pay-per-view comes around, I just go balls out, and I hope that people respond well to the matches that I’m trying to put on.”

Regarding his progression, Ospreay explained, “I think this is more of this like, putting more of an emphasis on the moves that I want put over as like, more deadly. So, I woe back a little bit and I don’t put all of the big stuff out there. I save a lot of the big stuff for the pay-per-views now. But I still entice people’s appetites by the stuff I do put out.”

When asked about Jerry Lynn’s impact, Ospreay stated, “I’ll be honest. I’ve been working a lot with Jerry Lynn, and he’s been a real guiding light on how to make stuff a little bit more important for me in those matches. So I do put a lot of love and admiration towards Jerry as he’s been such a great help in my matches.”
