Former AEW wrestler Mark Henry made his initial return to WWE since parting ways with AEW on the most recent Monday Night Raw episode. This WWE Hall of Fame inductee was seen in the audience alongside his son, Jacob, who just sealed a deal with the organization.
In a fresh issue of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Henry spoke about how Triple H’s leadership has positively altered the dynamics behind the scenes.
In Henry’s words, “I see individuals experiencing less stress. There’s a degree of acceptable innovation. I’ve been informed that there are persons who have had the privilege to err once or twice.”
He further elaborates, “It makes a substantial difference when there is no pressure on you to follow rigid instructions. Go out, invent, be an artist. If you stumble, you’ll be scrutinized closely. But having the chance to be creative, it’s nearly like liberation.”
Henry’s contract with AEW officially ended on May 28, 2024.
