Mark Henry Critiques Dynasty Main Event, Will Ospreay Hypes Josh Alexander’s Potential AEW Move

Mark Henry, during his recent guest appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast along with host Dave LaGreca, shared his perspectives on the main event of AEW Dynasty 2025. He notably critiqued the performance of the match referees as well as the performance of Jon Moxley.

Henry expressed, “I understand your point of view, but that’s not the key issue. The prime concern is — the significance of championship in pro wrestling, its portrayal, the uniqueness of the main event, and letting the stars shine. Unfortunately, this essence didn’t come through yesterday.”

The crowning event of AEW Dynasty 2025 showcased the comeback of the Young Bucks who aided Jon Moxley in defending his AEW World Title against Swerve Strickland.

Will Ospreay, in a latest Sports Illustrated interview, pondered over the potential inclusion of former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander in AEW.

Below, find some key takeaways from the podcast:

About Josh Alexander: “He hasn’t officially signed anything yet, however, look, I faced him in two monumental matches in TNA. I’m a huge fan of Josh Alexander. Truth be told, I wasn’t much familiar with him before our first bout, but within the first five minutes, he had won me over. I was thrilled, realizing, ‘wow, this guy is genuinely exceptional.’”

On a potential showdown with Alexander in the Owen Hart Cup: “Having experienced two thrilling matches and then losing to him, I’d relish the possibility of settling the score if he’s in the final. There isn’t any confirmation as such. I don’t believe he has inked any agreement yet.”
