Professional wrestler Mariah May has revealed her keen interest in participating in a specialty match against the erstwhile AEW Women’s World Champion, Toni Storm, if she should ever make a return to AEW.
In a recent engagement on the popular “Figure 4” podcast, May discussed various types of specialty or gimmick matches she is interested in.
She finally came up with a unique name for this dream duel, terming it “Glamour Match”.
In expressing her excitement for this unique concept, Mariah May stated, “I have a beautiful face, all these weapons and stuff. It’s not particularly my thing because I don’t want to damage the Glamour. If Toni Storm ever resurrected, I don’t know where she even is, and tried to touch me again, I would love to wrestle her in a match, which means I could hurt her as much as possible. I would love to craft this concept of a Glamour match.”
May was also keen to elaborate on the nature of her peculiar match, “I’m still not sure what that looks like. While I was on the independent circuit, I once had a Barbie Dream House Death Match, which was essentially a weapons match, and anything used in the match had to be pink. However, I got myself disqualified for using a red brick, which turned out to be loads of fun.”
In a memorable match at the AEW All In London 2024, May famously prevailed over Storm, walking away with the AEW Women’s World Championship.
