Mariah May is eagerly waiting to see what Yuka Sakazaki can bring to the table before their upcoming face-off in the AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam event next week.
Conducted in a “Digital Exclusive” interview after the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite, May communicated her thoughts about the forthcoming encounter, professing,
“I’ve been told time and again that when you hold the title, you’re the biggest target. But, my perspective is different. When I hold the title, I become the sniper. And every woman in that locker room represents a potential target for me to aim at – point blank. Yuka, at Grand Slam, it’s your turn.”
She went on to reveal, “What really irritates me is your apparent cheery front. First, I’m the only woman in the locker room who’s got a genuine reason to be cheerful. Secondly, I perceive who you really are. You’re just five years my senior. You can’t trick me with your Magic Girl persona. Why else would you use that name if not to cover up the fact that magic is made-believe? I’ve witnessed your behavior in Japan. They label you as a bully, a killer. Well, I’d love to see this side of you. In New York, before the spectators and my dear, darling Mina, show me what you’ve got, and then let’s see just how happy you will be when I crush you.”
Alongside this, NFL Films has made public the complete episode of “A Day in the Life of Tony Khan”, which premiered on FS1 before the most recent airing of AEW Dynamite.
