Maria Menounos Discusses Her Battle With Stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer

Maria Menounos recently spoke with PEOPLE to discuss her battle with pancreatic cancer.

During the interview, the part-time WWE star also revealed that she and her husband Kevin Undergaro are expecting a baby girl later this summer. Their baby is being born through a surrogate.

On her battle with Stage 2 pancreatic cancer, Menounos stated:

“I need people to know there are places they can go to catch things early. You can’t let fear get in the way. I had that moment where I thought I was a goner—but I’m okay because I caught this early enough.”

Menounos was officially diagnosed in January, and she later underwent a surgery to remove a 3.9-cm tumor.
