Maria Manic Comments On Teddy Hart’s Recent Arrest, Alleges There Was No Physical Abuse
Maria Manic tries to clear the air and says Teddy Hart was not trying to hurt her last week.
Hart is being held without bail at Richmond City Jail for his latest arrest, his third in 2020. He was arrested on Thursday and charged with strangulation resulting in bodily harm after an incident involving Manic at a residence.
Manic tried to give some context by saying Hart was training her to fight and that sometimes they play fight, but there’s a gray area with that in that sometimes a verbal fight would mix in some wrestling moves. She says he took her phone and when she went to get it back she alleged smacked him, which made him think she was trying to get physical with him. She says Hart put her in a chokehold and she tapped out and things were fine, but Hart put her in another chokehold even longer, which scared her and she asked him to leave the home.
Manic says Hart did not want to comply so she had Ace Montana speak with him to cool things down. She went on to say Hart wasn’t attacking her and denied there being any physical abuse, noting that it would be harmful to call it domestic abuse and related it more to an aggravated assault case. Manic continued, saying she not only didn’t know Ace was filming, but didn’t want him to pull a gun either and really just wanted help in getting Hart to leave the house and calm down.
Manic didn’t want the cops called, but had to explain the situation to local police after Ace called on her behalf. She says she did have some marks on her neck and that she’s had worse scrapes from wrestling matches, but police still arrested Hart due to the injuries. She says Teddy went too far, but she didn’t want to press charges against him before saying it was disrespectful for Ace to post the video online. Manic says she’s upset for a few reasons, including the video being online and Hart being in jail, and she is hopeful she can fix things.
Maria says Teddy was at fault since he went too far, but she has wanted to fight on the street “for real” and claims she told Teddy that in the past. She closed the video by saying Hart would have punched her in the face if he truly wanted to hurt her, and it was nobody’s business if they stay together after the latest incident.

In February, Hart was arrested on three charges including possession of narcotics with the intent to sell or distribute in Virginia. According to Hart (in a now-deleted phone conversation from jail), the registration issue was resolved as the car belonged to “his company” and it was being returned due to proving he didn’t steal the car, and he also said he “had a prescription” but didn’t go into detail. He was also arrested a second time later that month for violating an order of house arrest and is awaiting trial for the latest incident on April 22.
