Maria Kanellis On Leaving WWE, Wanting A Feud With Paige,

Speaking with WrestleTalk‘s Louis Dangoor, recently released WWE star Maria Kanellis talked about leaving the company for a second time and what she still wanted to do with the talent who are still employed. Namely, she wanted to work with Paige in some capacity, even if it ended up being with her as a manager.
I always wanted to get in a feud with Paige, because I felt like we always had a good back and forth. It’s terrible that she can’t wrestle anymore. I’m hoping one day, she’s able to.
She goes on to say that the two could have feuded as managers and that she would have had a pick from many fantastic female performers. “For me to be a manager and for her to be on the other side of it, I think that would have been so much fun.”
