Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling promotion held the second night of their ‘Forged in Excellence’ event on Sunday night.
The main event watched Konosuke Takeshita retain the AEW International Championship by defeating Josh Alexander. Additional highlights and results from the evening are detailed below:
– Jet Setters & Aiden Prince emerged victorious over Rocky Romero, Rohit Raju & Rohan Raja.
– In the QPW Qatar Championship Match, El Reverso beat Classy Ali.
– Rohan Raja expressed his displeasure at his team’s loss in the inaugural match and promised to defend his PWA Champion’s Grail at Oceanic Pro Wrestling’s December event.
– Harley Cameron and Laynie Luck were seen assaulting Kylie Rae post the first night.
– Kylie Rae & Miyu Yamashita notched a win against Laynie Luck & Harley Cameron.
– Mike Rollins emerged victorious against Trevor Lee, Jake Something, Stu Grayson, Alex Zayne and Sheldon Jean.
– Mike Bailey also claimed a victory over El Phantasmo.
– Harley Cameron interjected into an interview with Bully Ray and QT Marshall, hurling at them a string of the Dudley Boyz’ catchphrases.
– Raj Dhesi & Bhupinder Gujjar won against Bully Ray & QT Marshall. Darren McCarty was present in the crowd and intervened during the match.
– Athena claimed the ROH Women’s World Championship title by winning against Gisele Shaw.
– As already mentioned, in the AEW International Championship Match, the title was retained by Konosuke Takeshita, who beat Josh Alexander. Post-match, Ricochet came to Alexander’s aid.
