Many AEW Talents Were Unaware Of Banned Moves List, Tony Schiavone Talks Goldberg

As we previously reported here on eWn, Bryan Danielson has not been backstage at AEW events since breaking his forearm at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door II pay-per-view event. Additionally, his status for AEW All In 2023 remains up in the air.

On Thursday, it was reported that AEW recently released a list of banned terms and moves. It is said that a lot of AEW wrestlers didn’t know about the list until the news about it surfaced online.

During the latest edition of his “What Happened When” podcast, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone commented on Goldberg’s 173-0 streak in WCW and why he doesn’t believe any wrestling promotion will ever be able to recreate it. He said,

“We won’t recreate it. It was just a combination of an idea by Kevin Sullivan, a guy that could pull it off, and just being in the right time.“
