Mandy Rose has disputed the assertion that Stephanie Vaquer is the inaugural dual women’s champion in WWE NXT.
At present, Vaquer is the holder of both the NXT Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s North American Championship, thanks to her victory over Giulia at NXT: Roadblock. Despite WWE’s tagging her as the first dual champion, Rose has responded by reposting a Twitter post showing her with both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT UK Women’s Championship. Her actions suggest that she considers herself the deserving titleholder. Her retweet contained the following caption,
“Haha yea it’s pretty pathetic isn’t it!! Thanks for the recognition tho! Appreciate you!!”
Just for the record, Rose wasn’t a dual championship holder. Instead, she emerged victorious in a match where NXT UK and NXT Women’s titles were unified, so she wasn’t acknowledged as a dual title holder.
