During the TNA Sacrifice 2025 pay-per-view event on Friday night, Nic Nemeth surprisingly betrayed Matt Hardy, launching an assault on him post-main event.
The contested battle involved Nemeth, Hardy, Elijah, Joe Hendry, and Leon Slater securing victory against The System’s Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, JDC, and The Colons in a thrilling 10-man steel cage match. The win was sanctioned by Matt Hardy who pinned JDC using the Twist of Fate technique. However, following the match, the tables turned when Nemeth initiated an attack on Hardy with a Danger Zone while Ryan Nemeth locked the cage door.
The attack persisted with the duo preventing the entry of the babyfaces into the ring. In an intense scene, Nemeth ground Hardy’s forehead against the cage, continuing until the show concluded.
