The main event for MLW Azteca has been announced.

Major League Wrestling has announced that MLW World Champion Alex Hammerstone will team up with Pagano to face King Muertes and Taurus in the main event of MLW Azteca on 1/6.

Cesar Duran opted to add Pagano as Hammerstone’s partner instead of his ‘Dynastic bro’ Richard Holliday. The end of the show saw Hammerstone confront Cesar Duran, warning him not to double cross him. Cesar uttered ‘see you in Mexico, pendejo’ as Hammerstone walked away to end the show.

On December 7, MLW CEO Court Bauer announced the launch of MLW Azteca, which will be a stand-alone mini-series which is set to debut on the aforementioned date of January 6.

Major League Wrestling will enter the masked world of Mexican lucha libre as it presents: MLW AZTECA, a stand-alone mini-series, premiering Thursday January 6th at 8pm ET.

Featuring the grandest luchadores of Mexico clashing with Major League Wrestling’s best of the best, MLW matchmaker Cesar Duran presides over the action from sold out arenas in Mexico to underground fight clubs.

“MLW AZTECA is the next chapter in our on-going anthology series, and it will take MLW, its wrestlers and our fans to a very different and thrilling setting,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer.
