Madison Rayne is closing one chapter in her wrestling career.
Rayne was announced for Warrior Wrestling’s Stadium Series on September 26, and she later confirmed it would be her final independent wrestling match. Rayne began wrestling in 2005 and noted that this was the right time to call it a day for her indie career.
“It has been an incredible 15 years and the Chicago area has been so good to me, so what a better place to close the chapter. Thanks for this @WarriorWrstlng”
Rayne also responded to a fan question about her IMPACT Wrestling status and clarified that she’s not retiring. Rayne will continue to work with IMPACT, noting that she still has a lot she wants to do in the ring there and has a lot of other projects going on. She has also been working as a commentator for IMPACT’s Nashville TV tapings alongside Josh Mathews.
This feels like a good time to take a final bow on independent shows and go out big with [Warrior Wrestling]
Let…it….Rayne.
